Robinson Crusoe by Daniel DeFoe is one of my favorite books. It's considered a classic and one of the best stories told. I own this book and I urge you to purchase it and read it for yourself.

Mystery & Horror Writer, Marson Randell Jordan of Winnfield, Louisiana, has spent most of his life in Winn Parish, Louisiana. However, Jordan has traveled to England, France, several times to New York, and many other places within the United States. Schools Jordan attended were Westside Elementary School, Winnfield High School, Louisiana College, and Northwestern State University, from which he graduated. Later, Jordan acquired two years postgraduate work at Northwestern State University. Presently, Jordan is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Mystery Writers of America. A couple of years ago, Randell was elected Louisiana's At-Large Board Member representing Mystery Writers of America. Until 1993, Jordan had only written two articles in his life: one for a school he was attending, and a term paper on the problem of evil for a philosophy course he was taking at Northwestern State University. Jordan thinks it is amusing about how he turned out being a skillful author and occasionally working in a movie after doing the jobs mentioned below. After graduating from college, Jordan worked in the Louisiana oil fields as a "roughneck," who is a person that assists the driller in drilling an oil well. Partly what enhanced Jordan's writing expertise is his meeting of all kinds of criminals and policemen during his life. However, Jordan treats everyone equally with his friendly, outgoing personality. Jordan has been married once and his wife and he produced no children. At a later date, Jordan and his wife divorced. Jordan then purchased fifty-four acres of land in the "sticks" and lives alone back in the woods near Dugdemona Swamp, where wild animals walk about his house daily. Since 1993, when Jordan found out that he could write well, he types on a story nearly every day. Jordan has written twenty-four stories since 1993 and a professional editor edits this material.

Marson Randell Jordan of Winn Parish has been elected Louisiana's At-Large Board Member by published authors of Mystery Writers of America. Jordan said he was pleasantly surprised when President Cindy Daniel of Dallas, Texas, called him and asked him if he would be interested in running for the job. The Houston, Texas group represents the southwestern branch of Mystery Writers of America. Jordan said one thing he pledges to the people of Louisiana is he will represent them with dignity. He also stated, "I wish to thank the men and women in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas that voted and supported me. Jordan represents every person in Louisiana that is a member of Mystery Writers of America. The last person that held this position is a friend of Jordan named Jim Cunningham, formally of New Orleans. Cunningham has now moved to Chicago, Illinois, leaving the position open for the person who ran for the job and got the most votes.
